Stair Gates to Match Any Home's Decor Style

Our founder set out with one goal in mind when she designed The Stair Barrier -- to create a baby gate that was both safe and attractive. When most options on the market consist of metal bars and clunky plastic slats, we know it can be hard to believe us when we say that The Stair Barrier not only looks aesthetically pleasing, but can actually complement your home’s decor and blend seamlessly with your style.

Every few weeks on our Instagram feed, we select one of our fabrics and a popular home decor style. Then, we work with an interior designer to curate a design board that demonstrates how that fabric would work with that particular style. In case you’ve been missing out on all of this decor eye candy, we thought we’d compile all of the design boards we’ve shared so far for our newest 2019 fabrics.

And if you don’t follow us on Instagram yet, do so now for daily home decor inspiration, behind the scenes insight into our founder’s life and business, as well as details about how our safety gates function for real moms in real homes.

We hope you agree: babyproofing can be stylish with The Stair Barrier.

The French Country Style Home with Natural Intersections in Natural Beige

Inspired by the homes in Provence, French Country style is all about selecting natural materials, neutral tones, textured fabrics (think ruffles and toile) and ornate lighting -- all with a rustic touch. Our Natural Intersections fabric was an obvious choice for this home decor style board, which features classic, beautiful pieces from Joss and Main.

The Transitional Chic Style Home with Railroad Crossing in Brown

Transitional chic decor and design marries traditional with contemporary, resulting in a sophisticated and timeless look. Homeowners opt for transitional chic because it provides a fresh take on some of the traditional styles they love, without swinging too far into the bolder territory of contemporary decor.
